The Iosco RESA Career and Technical Education Center would like to take this opportunity to recognize Michael Tiffany as “Professional Student of the Month” for October 2024. Michael is the son of Janice and Randy Tiffany. He is a senior at Tawas Area High School.
“The highest compliment I can afford Michael is in the fact that not only would I strongly recommend him to any employer in need of an excellent employee, but I would hire him myself. Michael’s character is impeccable. He is honest, dedicated, reliable, and clearly leads by example. In the classroom, he fully completes his assignments and submits his work in a timely manner. When on the job-site, it is obvious that he is a clear leader, his peers turn to him for direction and he is the first to volunteer for challenging tasks. Michael is a member of the construction trades advisory board and has future aspirations to pursue secondary education in the construction industry. Although it will be a bitter-sweet loss for my program when Michael graduates, I have no doubt he will be a welcome and successful member to any firm lucky enough to employ him in the future. Michael in a very short time has earned my respect through his work ethics, attitude, and rarely found today, character.”
To be nominated for “Professional Student of the Month”, a student must have outstanding work ethics, no absences or tardies for the month, no discipline issues and at least a B grade point average.
